Whether you’re working in urban trees or remote landscapes, we ensure your gear remains fully functional and regulation-compliant.
Our inspections are carried out by competent, experienced personnel qualified in PPE inspection, including fall protection systems, helmets, harnesses, and other critical safety equipment. We ensure your gear is compliant with AS/NZS 1891.4:2009 and any relevant manufacturer or legislative requirements.
A PPE and equipment inspection is a formal check of safety equipment, performed by a qualified inspector. The purpose is to identify wear, defects, or issues affecting the performance or compliance of the equipment. For fall arrest systems and working-at-height PPE, six-monthly inspections by a competent person are required under AS/NZS 1891.4:2009.
Gear is checked and documented according to Australian Standards and safety legislation.
Faulty or non-compliant gear can be hazardous—regular inspections protect your workforce and business.
Regular inspections improve employee trust, reduce incidents, and help foster a proactive safety culture.
A documented inspection history can help with claims and may reduce insurance premiums.

Yes. Regular equipment inspections make sure that your equipment is compliant to all relevant standards which ensure you remain safe and your equipment remains functional. Equipment inspections may also be required under the terms of insurance policies or other contracts you may be under.
Different types of tree equipment require different inspection schedules. However, always keep track of when your equipment was last inspected, and perform visual and functional checks prior to any use. We generally recommend 6 monthly inspections for tree equipment but this may vary depending on Australian standards, manufacturer conditions, employer conditions and the intensity and frequency of the equipment’s use.
